Wild Ahi Tuna Steaks
Seared Tuna Steaks Sauted in Garlic and Fresh Parsley
Equipment
- Saute Pan
Ingredients
- 5 Wild Ahi Tuna Steaks
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp organic Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Fresh Italian Parsley
- 2 cloves Fresh Garlic
Instructions
- Begin to salt, pepper and garlic powder both sides of your Tuna
- In a Saute pan over medium heat Drizzle Olive oil and begin to heat up, then add garlic. allow to saute until a light golden color.
- Place All Tuna Steaks in Pan evenly distributed, lay on top of the garlic. Allow to sear for 5 min then turn them over.
- At this point you will add your freshly chopped parsley. Lower heat a little, then cover and let tuna finish cooking another 4 minutes.
- Place in a Serving dish and drizzle remaining sauce from pan over the Tuna Steaks! Ready to Serve ! Add a nice green vegetable or crunchy salad and or some herbed baby potatoes.
Notes
If you Give this recipe a try, you will never go back to canned tuna again. If there are left overs or if you’d like to make tuna salad sandwiches anytime, I would make ahead of time, let cool and then break apart with fork. Mix in your favorite Mayo and you have fresh, healthy delicious tuna ready any time. Also I like to just squeeze lemon and eat it as is. For meal time, serve with a leafy vegetable or salad to complete this whole healthy meal.
